We have nothing new to report on our search for Faith. Her family misses her immensely during this holiday season and continues to pray for her safe return. We have not given up hope.

On the morning of June 28, 2010 the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol received a call from a passerby reporting a single car vehicle crash in 12400 block of E National Rd. Ohio State Troopers responded to the scene and found a small red Honda Civic, in the ditch on the side of the road. There was no one with the vehicle and they keys were gone, but some personal items were left behind. Unable to make contact with the owner by phone, OSP requested that the Clark County Sheriff’s Office assist by attempting to make contact with the owner, Faith Willison, at her residence. Deputies responded to the residence and made contact with her husband. He advised that his wife had left the residence, without his knowledge, sometime overnight and he did not know where she was. Mrs. Willison left behind a note that indicated that she may be depressed and this has raised great concern for her safety. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and the Springfield Police Division’s K-9 unit attempted a ground search of the area but were unable to locate Mrs. Willison. Investigators contacted the victim’s cell phone carrier who assisted investigators by trying to triangulate her location by “pinging” her cell phone. The cell carrier gave a location that was consistent with the primary search area but could not be more precise than that. Shortly after, the cell phone was apparently turned off. On the Morning of July 1, 2010, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office returned to the search area to follow up with a secondary search. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation Division assisted with an aerial search and Clark County Sheriff’s Office ground crews checked out buildings and wooded areas.
